THE WILD WOMAN

The Wild Woman is an award winning spoken word artist, curator, workshop facilitator, arts educator. Sitting deeply in her gift as an oracle, she is a spiritually intuitive, queer, wild woman, bad gyal, grounded in her spirituality, inappropriateness, healing, and sacred mantras. With a poetic career that spans over a decade, The Wild Woman has cultivated a distinctive style centering her Blackness, womanity and love of soul stirring and aligning conversations, harnessing purpose and using poetry to challenge thoughts and ideals, in order to instigate waves of growth.

Lady la Profeta’s poetry, music and films carry social critiques with the purpose of making this world a safer and happier place to live in. She makes art that heals, awakens hearts and passions. She aims to create unforgettable moments that lead us towards our life purpose, she believes in the power of Love and that Love always wins.

PAUL EDWARD COSTA

Paul Edward Costa is an award-winning poet, teacher, and organiser. He served as Mississauga's 3rd Poet Laureate and has published in journals such as Blank Spaces Magazine, Train: A Poetry Journal, and Punk Monk Magazine. Kung Fu Treachery Press published his poetry book "The Long Train of Chaos" in 2019 and Mosaic Press published his flash fiction collection "God Damned Avalon" in 2021. He's been a featured poet at reading series such as the Victoria Poetry Project, Shab-e She'r, the Poetry Open Mic at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, and the Oh!Sound Reading Series. He currently organises the Outer Haven Poetry open mic series in Toronto.

KELLY MCALLISTER

Kelly Mary McAllister lives in a concrete shoebox in the Toronto sky with a little black dog. She moves through the world as a queer, fat, and disabled ciswoman. Winner of the 2023 Flower City Poetry Slam, Kelly’s poems can be found in Canthius, Grain Magazine, Door is a Jar Magazine, and the Banyan Review, amongst others.
